Traffic and Safety: Address funding and planning for local infrastructure and services to meet the needs of a growing population while continuing to support our Police and First Responders, keeping Maitland safe.
Quality of Life: Protect and maintain our parks, lakes, trees, and recreation facilities while sustaining Maitland’s natural beauty.
Business, Arts, and Culture: Support and grow our local businesses and the arts and cultural organizations that make Maitland special.
Maitland Public Library: Realize our city’s vision for the new library while ensuring continued public use of our historic library building.

An avid cyclist, Scot has explored the city’s bike paths and is dedicated to making Maitland safe and accessible for walkers, cyclists, and motorists alike. A passionate historian Scot has worked tirelessly to preserve and share Maitland’s unique story.
Scot is running for City Council to protect Maitland’s residential neighborhoods, enhance its parks and recreational offerings, and ensure the city remains vibrant and welcoming for all.

Supporting and Growing Maitland
A familiar face in the community, Scot has served on the Maitland Public Library Board of Trustees for a decade. Realizing our city’s forward-looking vision for the new library, while ensuring continued public use of the current library building, he has played a key role in the planning of the new library and advocating for resources that benefit all.
